We live in an age
where all that is left of feelings and problems are statuses or quotes shared
on social media.
We express being
hurt by silly gestures on these public platforms.
Because we don't
share them with our closed one's.
We are comfortable
telling the world our sadness, a world which really doesn't care, rather than
telling the people who actually care about us.
Our generation is
scared of confrontations.
To deal with things
head on.
To hear that you are
wrong.
Or sometimes just to
scared to let go of things which are already ruined.
Making us rely on
these petty things which are called social networks, who in all honesty are
anything but social.
Love,
Tamanna
This is so true.
ReplyDeleteBut I'll tell you one thing?
Social media has become like an updated version of God, where people have hopes to be understood and at the same time not believe that they are alone.
You know what I mean?
But I must say, what you've written is an Ugly Truth but potrayed wonderfully.
You too have a point Ashna. It does have those plus points in it. :)
