Significant Other

She is the calm to my insanity.
The laughter to my jokes
The order to my mess.
The smile to my tears
The ear to my words
The one words can't describe.
My support system
My best friend.

I don't need to tell anyone how important best friends are in life. So share with your closest friends and let them know how important they are :)

Unsocial?

We live in an age where all that is left of feelings and problems are statuses or quotes shared on social media.
We express being hurt by silly gestures on these public platforms.
Because we don't share them with our closed one's.
We are comfortable telling the world our sadness, a world which really doesn't care, rather than telling the people who actually care about us.
Our generation is scared of confrontations.
To deal with things head on.
To hear that you are wrong.
Or sometimes just to scared to let go of things which are already ruined.
Making us rely on these petty things which are called social networks, who in all honesty are anything but social.

This is a new idea I am trying out. These are small snippets I have written over the time and I thought of sharing it here through Picturesque Soul. I will be sharing images of whatever I have written and I would love your input on this new idea. Do let me know how you like it.

Connection: Art and Us

It's amazing how an artist can make someone feel. The power over people's emotions.
For a writer. It's like..
"Their words, our thoughts."
A musician,
"Their music, our heart strings."
A painter,
"Their strokes, our emotions."

It's these things that run through our minds when we come across artists.
Because that's what they do, they connect with us with their Art!
They don't need to meet someone to connect with their deepest darkest thoughts.
Thus the magic of Art.
